Tabletop mosaics can add charm and color to a house. It is often difficult though, to find a table that is flat and even enough to hold a mosaic. Luckily, anyone can easily build a coffee table for mosaics with only a drill, wood glue, paint and some pieces from the local hardware store.
Pre-Fabricated Table Tops and Legs
Home stores carry a variety of fabricated table tops and legs. Some of these tables even come with pre-drilled holes for attaching legs. Leg holes can easily be drilled though, so any table top will do.
Choose a table top from a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Choose the best shape and size for the room in which the table will be placed. Also purchase four table legs. Make sure that all of the legs are the same length and that each comes with attached screws at the top and feet at the bottom.
